Today I had my 3rd doctors appointment for this pregnancy. I am 14 weeks 3 days pregnant! I had to be seen by another doctor (just this time) and I was really nervous because he is a male doctor. However, he was very friendly and made me very comfortable. He said everything looks good and the baby sounded great! I just love hearing the heartbeat. Sometimes it's hard to believe that there is really a tiny growing baby in my belly. For some reason, I am a lot more worried about something happening so to hear that the babies heartbeat is nice and strong really calms me down. I can also feel the baby which amazes me! I don't remember feeling Landon move THIS early on in the pregnancy. I heard you can feel the baby a lot quicker with your second. I don't feel the baby very often but every once and a while I feel a little kick (or something!) and it makes me smile. Another thing that amazes me is that I didn't gain any weight since my last appointment. I am getting bigger everyday and thought for sure I gained tons of weight. I haven't been eating as much as I did the first time so I guess that's part of it. Anyway, everything is going well and we are going to call tomorrow morning to set up an appointment to have our first ultrasound done. I can't wait!
I am definately getting bigger!
Christmas has come and gone and I am just can't believe it! Christmas was a lot of fun for us this year. It was Landon's first Christmas with my side of the family and our little families first Christmas in Utah. We started the morning by opening presents, eating breakfast, and then a bunch more family came over for supper and we opened more presents from eachother. We received so many things that we needed and are so grateful. It was a very relaxed, fun day besides the fact that Landon's nose was running like a fauset. He was a good sport for not having a nap but made mommy and daddy very happy when he went to bed at 8:30pm and SLEPT through the night. We were able to stay up and play some games with Brittany and Cody. I hope everyone had a very 
Landon was already asleep by 8 o'clock (on the way home from my uncle's) and I figured he would sleep through the night since he didn't have a nap that day. I was totally bummed because he was still in his regular clothes. Well 10 o'clock rolled around and Landon was awake so we decided to put his new red jammies on. My mom also suprised Chris and I with NEW jammies too. I love having new pajamas to wear on Christmas morning. My parents always had pajamas for us kids to open on Christmas eve. I didn't really think about it until the last minute for Chris and I. Needless to say, we were super excited!
We spent most of Christmas eve in West Jordan at my uncle's home. We had soup bowls, visited my grandfather, and played games. My parents received two fun games that Landon got to open. Each time he ripped a tiny piece of paper, he would shake in delight. He's so funny! He even got the hang of "Fact or Crap" and would look down at the card, talk in jibberish like he knew the question, and look up for your response. If you said "crap" he would say "Crap!" too. It was pretty priceless. 
On the way to my uncle's, we had just enough time to go walk around at Gardner Village. They had some elves (freaky looking ones) throughout the "village." Landon was pretty freaked out by them. I set him next to and elf and tried to show Landon that it was okay. I told him to tell the elf hi and his reply was "No hi!" while reaching for me. It was cold but we didn't stay long so it was okay. Next year, we'll have to go early enough to go on a hay ride with Mrs. Claus!
Growing up, my family had a few traditions that happened around Christmas. One of my favorites is the ornament tradition. Every year when we put up our Christmas tree, my parents would give each of us our own ornament that represented what we did that year. Chris' family did the same thing only it was just a fun ornament, not one that really represented anything. I am so excited to carry this tradition on to our little family. I can't believe Landon already has three ornaments! This year, my mom found an ornament for Chris and I. It says "Christmas is love" and "2008" and I was able to put a small picture from our wedding in it. She also found Landon's this year as well. I looked everywhere for the real Frosty from the orginal cartoon and had no such luck. Instead, my mom found a cute snowman (Frosty-Landon says) holding a basketball since Landon is OBSESSED with both. Landon made me an ornament for me at MOPS too. I think it's a good idea to have an ornament with a picture of the kids each year for Chris and I to keep when the kids move out. That way, our tree won't be so bare once we are old and gray! Tomorrow, Christmas eve, we are going to do another family tradition. I love doing them and hope that Landon will want to carry the traditions out when he is grown.

In honor for Chris' upcoming birthday, my mom had a birthday breakfast at her house last Saturday. Chris' actual birthday was Thursday...I have been slow to upload the pictures! Anyway, she went all out making waffles with her new waffle maker with all kinds of toppings, hot chocolate, eggs, and fruit. Chris got some really fun things that he needed like slippers, a warm coat, a puzzle, and a book he has been looking for for months now. Chris said this was probably the best breakfast ever. I think that means he had fun! Happy Birthday, babe!
We finally got a tree to decorate! I was at my sisters the other day and so was my Aunt, Melissa. I mentioned that I couldn't find our tree. My Aunt said she had an extra in her basement that I could have. I was so excited! I went and picked it up and came home and didn't waste any time! Landon had a blast putting all of the fun little ornaments on the bottom. He also snuck away with a few too. Thanks Sissa! We love our tree. 
Chris' grandma hand made all of our stockings. They are beautiful! She no longer is able to make stockings so I am on my own making one for baby for next year. I don't think it will be as pretty, but I am going to give it a shot!
Here are some goodies and ornaments that I made for people at work. I made banana bread for a few of the teachers assistants in our class and just a bag of candy for some other teachers I've come close to. I love the felt Christmas trees. What a fun thing to make!
