Independence Day!

The 4th of July was pretty low key for us this year but we had a really fun time. Chris had to work (what else is new!) so the kids and I went over to my parents to barbaque, hang out with our family friends, and put on our own fireworks show. My mom and I tried to get a picture or the boys and I because we were wearing red, white and blue but it did not turn out like I had planned. Thought those boys would know better by now ;) Landon has really sensitive ears and at first did not want to come outside to watch the show but I just carried him out and he ended up LOVING it-yay! We could see the big fireworks from the driveway so that was fun. I was excited for Carter to watch the fireworks and to see what he would do but he was in bed long before we started them up. He slept like a rock inside throughout all of the noise. We are so grateful to live in this country and celebrate it with our family and close friends.

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July!!
