Giggles

Carter laughs the most when his big brother is around. He absolutely adores him and it's the cutest thing! We had just gotten home on Friday and he really started giggling so we were quick to get the camera. Carter even will laugh if you tickle around his neck and armpit area. He did it for the first time today. It's the funnest thing.

And yes, I do put pants on Carter when it's cold outside. Don't worry, I'm not a bad mom. He was sweaty from being in his carseat and I had just changed his diaper.

Bumbo Sitter

I have been really anxious to use the Bumbo seat but it has taken some time for Carter's neck muscles to cooperate. I put him in it today just to see how well he would do and I was amazed at his progress from the last time I tried. He's not 100% at holding up his head and is a little wobbly but he's getting there! I first put a blanket around him but took it out a few minutes later and he did pretty good! He was too busy looking to look at me because Landon is so much more exciting but I did manage to get a few of Carter smiling! The doctor told us we could introduce solids to Carter as early as 4 months so if all goes well at his next check up, I think we're going to try rice cereal. This seat is perfect for feedings. I just need to go buy a tray for the Bumbo now. My good friend Mandy let us borrow her Bumbo sitter since her baby is now too big for it-Thanks Mandy!

Yay Carter!

Spider Man Costume

Landon LOVES Spider Man. He loved him before I think he ever really saw him on television or anything. His grandma Wagner found this Spider Man costume for cheap just to play around in but I think it's going to end up being his Halloween costume. He was having such a good time wearing it that he didn't want to take it off and ended up wearing it to bed. I couldn't resist taking a picture. How funny is he with his bulky muscles?

Make & Takes

Every Saturday, Ben Franklin's has a card make and take you can do at their store for free. Right now until the end of December, they have ornaments you can make for $1-$2. Some are Halloween and some are Christmas. I made a paper covered star and a bird ornament today for a total of $3. I also made a Thankgiving card that was free. If you have a Ben Franklin's by you, you should go check out the make and takes. I think I am going to go to every one from now on. What awesome Christmas gifts! The best part is that you can learn how to make something and then go back and buy the supplies and with coupons, of course!

Twinkle Twinkle Mobile

I've been meaning to make Carter a mobile for his crib but haven't gotten around to it yet. Until then, Landon's old mobile works just fine. Carter loves laying underneath and watching it go around and around. Some might think this small clip is boring but I could watch my little boy for hours!
