Twins?

Everyone keeps telling me how much Landon and Carter look alike. I put Landon's hand me down oulfit on Carter the other day and thought it would be fun to take a picture at the same (almost) age to compare the two. I think Carter has his own look but you be the judge. Can you tell who is who?!

Ghost Suckers

We are really excited for Halloween at our house. A little too excited maybe...We have been looking forward to October I think since it ended last year. Landon and I stay home most of the time so I have been trying to think of fun things/crafts for him to do. We found the perfect one the other day! We made ghost suckers. All you need is a sucker, fabric or toilet paper, something to tie it off with, and a marker if you want to draw a face. I used suckers we had at home and fabric I found for cheap-54 cents to be exact! We can't wait to hand them out to trick or treaters :)

I'm Naked!"

Funny story from today Well, it was funny to me! As I mentioned in eariler posts, my mom volunteer's at her friends boutique in Layton once a week. It's a really neat store and I get lots of crafting ideas. Landon loves to play with the little playhouse that is there too. He usually gets a few free balloons to take home and he thinks that's pretty cool. Every once and a while, I will go with her too since I don't have anything to do at home. Well, today, the owner was making balloons arrangments for a wedding dinner (the night before the wedding) and she needed some help setting it up. I went with her and thought the idea was kind of silly but it turned out SO cute. They had a hollywood theme and had ALL the works like popcorn, movie posters, the red carpet, and more. Unforunately, I didn't have my camera but did get a few on my camera phone. I helped out just to be nice but ended up getting $20 bucks out of the deal-sweet! Anyway, while this was going on, Landon stayed with my mom at the store. We are still working on the whole potty training deal but he has been doing pretty good. He has not worn a diaper in about 2 weeks-even at night! He does really well if someone takes him to the potty every 45 minutes to an hour but won't usually tell you he has to go. That kid pees A LOT! Right before I left, he pooped in his underwear...Luckily, it was very easy to clean up and I had an extra pair of underwear in my bag. When I got back, about 21/2 hours later, I took Landon to go pee. Not kidding, a few minutes later, he told me he peed in his pants. SO frustrating! I only had a pair of jeans in my bag so he had to go camando and the pants were 2 sizes too big. While we were leaving, I was carrying Carter and told Landon to follow me. He then shouted, "Ah! I'm naked!" I didn't really think anything of it but then remembered that his pants were too big and probably were falling up. His bare little butt was there for the world to see. I started cracking up and so did he. He's so funny-I love him!

Jumperoo Fun

For the last little bit, I have been carrying Carter around the house ALL day long. He only likes on position 90% of the time and that's me holding him facing forward. He doesn't like being held like a baby because then he thinks it's time to eat and doesn't really like being up on your shoulder. He will occassionally sit in his swing or bouncy seat but not for long so I decided to give the jumperoo a try. He was still a little bit too small and his head isn't quite strong enough but he sat and smiled and talked for about 35 minutes. He seemed to really like the music and lights too.I think he's going to love the rainforest jumperoo as much as Landon did. I'm so glad that I kept everything that we had for Landon. Baby stuff can so pricey and kids don't know the difference between new and used!

Happy Baby

Carter is so much happier these days. I think we just had to figure each other out ;) Here is his first little giggle (almost!) caught on video, blowing raspberries, and some photos from this afternoon. I just love this little guy!

Scary Stick

Landon was terrified of anything related to Halloween the last few years but absolutely loves everything about it this year. One day at the craft store, Grandma Wagner found a few Halloween wood cut outs and bought them for Landon. He had so much fun with them and carried the skeleton all around the house. Then my mom had an idea...to make a tree and hang the cut outs from it. Landon went with Grandma to a nearby pond and found the perfect branch. Landon called it his "scary stick." They got home and sprayed the stick black and then colored some of the Halloween "guys." Landon was so proud of his scary little creation and it looks great on our table!!
